Royal Doulton Figurine Michael Faraday - HN5196.
Artist: Robert Tabbenor, Height: 28.98cm (11.5"), Issued: 2008 in a limited edition of 350, Series: Prestige Pioneers.

This figurine comes with it's original certificate of authenticity numbered 90 of 350 & in it's original box. It is in stunning condition & is one for the serious collector, no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or restoration. Full Royal Doulton hallmark to base.

Faraday was appointed laboratory assistant to Sir Humphrey Davy at the Royal Institution in 1813. After years of hard work, Michael Faraday became Professor of Chemistry in 1833. Faraday studied the relationships between the forces of light, heat, electricity & magnetism & founded the science of electro-magnetism. His work was key to research in physics and other fields.
